Easy
For people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
Moderate
These programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
Active
For people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately Challenging
For hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
Challenging
Get ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Lunch will be at a popular island restaurant called Mullet Bay.
Afternoon:
After lunch take a trip to the beach for a "mock nest" adventure. We may also go seining if the tides are right. If not, we'll be seining on Sapelo or Jekyll Islands or both. After we are finished, we can all jump into the swimming pool at the hotel and cool off until time for dinner.

- Grands at Jekyll Island Historic District/Kids at Boneyard Beach,...
Grands at Jekyll Island Historic District/Kids at Boneyard Beach, Georgia Sea Turtle Center, Ring Shouters
Breakfast:
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning:
The grandchildren will explore the beaches on Jekyll Island. The grandparents will be taking a field trip on the trolley seeing the millionaire village and cottages on Jekyll Island. Grandparents will be getting on and off the trolley to go inside cottages, Faith Chapel, and the Jekyll Island Hotel. Kids will visit Boneyard Beach. North End Beach, best walked at low tide, shows dramatic evidence of erosion, with the exposed roots of dead, decorticated oaks and pines producing a boneyard beach that wraps around to the eastern side of the island. The oaks have flat root mats and the pines have deep, vertical roots. During storms, the heavier oaks tend to tip over and remain, while the pines snap off at the roots and are carried off by the tides. It is one of the most photographed areas of Jekyll Island for natural beauty in the world. Grandparents will join grandchildren at Boneyard Beach after their trolley tour.
Lunch:
We'll all meet back for lunch at Sea Jays on Jekyll Island.
Afternoon:
Through sea turtle rehabilitation, research and education programs, the Georgia Sea Turtle Center will increase awareness of habitat and wildlife conservation challenges, promote responsibility for ecosystem health and empower individuals to act locally, regionally, and globally to protect the environment. The Georgia Sea Turtle Center is a hospital for ill and injured sea turtles. We are the only hospital of its kind in the state of Georgia. The Center is open to the general public and offers an interactive Exhibit Gallery and Rehabilitation Pavilion with a number of viewable sea turtle patients. We will have a guide take us through the hospital and exhibit area.
Dinner:
Dinner at the hotel.
Evening:
Sit back and relax with a local entertainment group called the Ring Shouters. They were invited to participate in the inaugural parade in Washington this year.
