Day Two: Monday, June 11 - Cape Cod Canal/Hyannis Harbor Cruise/Sandwich Glass Museum 
Breakfast: Breakfast at hotel restaurant.

Morning: Journey to Sandwich, the oldest town on Cape Cod, for a walking tour of the Glass Museum and glass blowing demonstration. Continue on to the Cape Cod Canal where interactive films and exhibits illustrate the history of the canal project and its impact on New England shipping.

Lunch: Eat lunch in Sandwich

Afternoon: Next, visit the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum where you will experience all the dimensions of his life at the Kennedy Compound in Cape Cod as it was. Continuing on in Hyannis, visit the historic St. Francis Church, Korean War Memorial, and the JFK Memorial. Remembering the nation's 34th president and a former Hyannis Port local, this meditative site pays tribute to the man who created Camelot. Many folks come to contemplate John F. Kennedy and the loss of his transforming character at this park, which features a stone wall set with a medallion of his likeness and a pool with a fountain. The park also looks out on Lewis Bay and the ocean where JFK spent so many happy moments with family and friends. In the late afternoon, set sail for the open sea with Hy-Line for a leisurely one-hour harbor cruise which will take you on a journey of Lewis Bay and Hyannis Harbor.

Dinner: Relax at a restaurant in Falmouth and enjoy and some traditional Cape Cod cooking.

Day Three: Tuesday, June 12 - Marine Biological Laboratory/Woods Hole Oceanographic... 
Marine Biological Laboratory/Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution/OceanQuest Hands-On Discovery Cruises

Breakfast: Breakfast at hotel.

Morning: Visit the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute's to learn about the Institution's ocean science research and the vessels and tools developed by WHOI engineers and scientists for use in that research. Then, hear from a scientist at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, followed by a tour of the Marine Resources Center for a look at the marine animals used in MBL research.

Lunch: Eat lunch among the scientists at the Marine Biology Laboratory Cafeteria.

Afternoon: Delight in a two hour cruise that will actively engage participants in learning oceanography through first-hand observations of natural marine phenomena and data collection. Discover the wonders of ocean science aboard a fully certified and equipped research vessel. As 'guest' scientists, you will rotate from station to station, accompanied by professional scientists, educators and mariners. Collect samples of seawater and learn how weather affects sampling; sample bottom communities using traps, trawl or dredge and collect surface organisms with plankton nets. A great way to learn more about Cape Cod's ecological systems!

Dinner: Dinner on your own to explore local restaurants in Woods Hole

Day Four: Wednesday, June 13 - Salt Pond Visitor Center//Nauset Light/Fort Hill Trail 
Breakfast: Breakfast at hotel restaurant

Morning: 9-10:30 Presentation by local author Bill Sargent. Afterwards, check out of the hotel and depart via coach for the Outer Cape via historic route 6a. Please not that you may leave your cars parked at the Holiday Inn Falmouth until the program ends on June 15th.

Lunch: Boxed Lunches

Afternoon: Arrive at the Salt Pond Visitor Center for an introductory film on the United States Life Saving Service and Cape Cod National Seashore. Experience the beauty of the National Seashore with a short walk along the Fort Hill Trail (1.5 imiles). Cross through open fields to enjoy great views of Nauset Marsh before arriving at the Edward Penniman House. Built by Captain Edward Penniman, this local landmark is a symbol of sailing-ship whaling. The Right Whale jawbones at the entrance to the property are undoubtedly its most notorious feature. Stop by Nauset Light for a lighthouse tour before returning to the hotel. This iconic lighthouse (logo of Cape Cod Potato Chips), was once one of two towers in Chatham. Due to erosion, the lighthouse was moved to its current location in 1996.

Dinner: Arrive at 4 points by the Sheraton Eastham, Check-in and enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Evening: Presentation: Hear Jim Walker, former president of the Race Point Chapter of the Cape Cod Lighthouse Association, discuss the trials and tribulations of restoring and maintaing Race Point Light.

Day Five: Thursday, June 14 - Old Harbor life Saving Station/Highland House Museum/Highland... 
Old Harbor life Saving Station/Highland House Museum/Highland Light/Province Lands Visitor Center/Seal Walk & Dune Tour

Note: Sighting of Wildlife is not guranteed & accessibility to beach areas may be restricted due to environmental concerns.

Breakfast: Breakfast at hotel restaurant.

Morning: Presentation: Hear Life Saving Service historian, Richard Ryder, discuss the history of the Old Harbor Life Saving Station. Afterwards, board the coach and head towards Provincetown. Stop in Truro and visit both the Highland House Museum, and Highland Light.

Lunch: Lunch in Provincetown.

Afternoon: After lunch visit the Province Land’s Vistitor center. Marvel at the 360-degree view of the Province Lands dunes, the Outer Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Arguably one of the best points to see whales by land, view the Race Point Ranger Station, Race Point Beach, the Old Harbor Life-Saving Station and the Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown. Then, experience the best of the seashore as you venture across the sand dunes in motorized vehicles for a "Dune Tour".

Dinner: Enjoy a farewell dinner at a local Restaurant

Day Six: Friday, June 15 - Boxed Lunches/Program Departures 
Breakfast: Breakfast at hotel.

Morning: Presentation: Learn about Seal Disentanglement from Jesse Mechling, Marine Education Director Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies. Check out of the hotel and return via coach to the Holiday Inn Falmouth. You will arrive back at the hotel by approximately 12:30pm.
