EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.

Equipment Requirements
Materials List : Pencil, Ruler, Eraser, Apron, Drawknife, Carving Knife (or knives), spoke shave, sandpaper in 80 and 120 or 150 grit,Paint brushes (large, medium and small round, a liner (#4-6), A Vise that can clamp to a table with "C" clamps. Afternoon: Upon arrival, check into Motel. Come to the Tawes Museum between 4 and 6 p.m. for table set up and orientation information. Dinner will follow at 6 p.m.at the Watermens Inn Restaurant.

Day Two: Monday, February 16 - Discussion on the history of decoy carving / Begi...
Breakfast: Breakfast at Watermens Inn Restaurant from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM.

Morning: A look at the production of elaborate decorative and working decoys. Discuss the history of decoy carving from a rough block.

Lunch: Lunch at Watermens Inn Restaurant from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

Afternoon: With direction from award winning carver, Rich Smoker, begin carving a decoy by hand.

Dinner: Dinner at Watermens Inn Restaurant from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

Evening: If necessary, participants will return to carving, if not this is considered free time.

Day Three: Tuesday, February 17 - Continue carving your decoy
Breakfast: Breakfast at Watermens Inn Restaurant from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM.

Morning: Participants will continue working on their decoy by carving its body.

Lunch: Lunch at Watermen's Inn Restaurant from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

Afternoon: Participants will move to the more detailed carving of the head of the decoy.

Dinner: Dinner at Watermens Inn Restaurant from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

Evening: If necessary, participants will continue carving. If not, this is considered as free time.

Finish carving your decoy / Join the head to the body / Preparation for final steps

Breakfast: Breakfast at Watermens Inn Restaurant from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM.

Morning: Continue to master your carving as we joining the head to the body this morning.

Lunch: Lunch at Watermens Inn Restaurant from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

Afternoon: Free afternoon to complete project for final steps or visit the Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art, home to the acclaimed carvings of Lem and Steve Ward.

Dinner: Dinner at Watermens Inn Restaurant from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

Evening: If necessary, participants will continue carving. If not consider this free time.

Put the final touches on your decoy as you set the eyes in the head and paint

Breakfast: Breakfast at Watermens Inn Restaurant from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM.

Morning: With directions from our experienced carver, we'll set the eyes in the head of the decoy this morning.

Lunch: Lunch at Watermens Inn Restaurant from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM.

Afternoon: After lunch, our instructor will direct participants as we begin painting our the decoys.

Dinner: Dinner at Watermens Inn Restaurant from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM.

Evening: If necessary, participants will complete their carving. If not consider this as free time.

Day Six: Friday, February 20 - Departures
Breakfast: Breakfast at Watermens Inn Restaurant from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM.

Morning: This morning we'll complete our decoys with distressing followed by an exhibit for participants and guests.

Lunch: Lunch Watermens Inn Restaurant from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Program ends after lunch.
