Day Two: Monday, September 22 - A field trip to the Museum Salt Marsh & Acadia...
A field trip to the Museum Salt Marsh & Acadian dikes. Marco Polo, The Fastest Ship The World.

Breakfast: Cold buffet, plus daily hot entree.

Morning: The week begins at the Quaco Museum in a session conducted by the curator and local genealogist. Learn about the arrival of the Loyalists and the shipbuilding industry that at one time made St. Martins the second wealthiest community in the British Empire.

Lunch: Tidal Watch Inn - Buffet Lunch.

Afternoon: Active track participants walk along the beach to the Salt Marsh with a naturalist guide to learn how Acadians farmed in this unique ecosystem. Other participants learn about the legendary Marco Polo tall ship that became the fastest ship in the world.

Dinner: Tidal Watch Inn - Full service, three course dinner with choice of entrees.

Evening: Enjoy an evening of Celtic Music.

Exploration of Village, Harbour & Sea Caves Learn of Legends and Folklore An Evening with a New Brunswick Author

Note: In the morning all participants enjoy a walking tour through the village to see the architecture. Active track continues out to the sea caves and cliffs while others return to the Inn to learn about Legends and Folklore of the Bay. A late afternoon session for all participants explores the ecology and the science of the world;s highest tides. A New Brunswick author reads from and discusses his/her novel.

Morning: This day is devoted to exploring the beauty of the area along the Bay of Fundy coast. A variety of options will be offered for active track and naturalist guide lectures for all participants.

Lunch: Tidal Watch Inn - Picnic lunch overlooking the Bay.

Afternoon: After a picnic lunch overlooking the Bay of Fundy continue exploration of back roads and beaches around the Bay.

Dinner: Tidal Watch Inn - Full service, three course meal with choice of entrees.

Evening: Enjoy a great evening of Maritime Music

Morning: Active track participants enjoy a walk out around the Lighthouse and to a secluded tidal beach while others learn about the struggle of black Loyalists.

Lunch: Tidal Watch Inn - Buffet lunch

Afternoon: Another New Brunswick author reads and discusses his/her latest novel. In a final session learn about and sample some of New Brunswick's favorite foods.

Dinner: Tidal Watch Inn - Full service three course dinner with choice of entree.
