Day Two: Monday, June 16 - Exploring Montreal, history and architecture in O...
Exploring Montreal, history and architecture in Old Montreal district. Private jazz concert.

Breakfast: At the hotel varied, buffet-style breakfast.

Morning: Attend an engaging talk on the history of Quebec and Canada and the role of Montreal in their social, economic and cultural development. We then depart for a guided tour of Old Montréal, focusing on its history and architecture.

Lunch: Montreal is known for its abundant cafés, which are well attended by Montrealers at lunchtime. We will select one for a light yet fulfilling meal.

Afternoon: In the afternoon, you will be invited to independently explore Old Montreal; the port, the Pointe-à-Callière Museum of Archaeology (built on the very foundations of the city), Marché Bonsecours and a popular street known for its art galleries.

Dinner: Dinner on your own

Evening: Jazz in Montréal, private commented concert with Jennifer Bell (saxophone) and Cordell Henebury (guitar).

Day Three: Tuesday, June 17 - Explore Montreal and Discover Canadian Art
Breakfast: At the hotel.

Morning: Guided tour of Montreal in a private coach to get to know the different neighborhoods and sample their culinary specialities

Lunch: Lunch on your own. Suggestions will be made.

Afternoon: Tour the impressive Canadian art collection in the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. You could also visit the new summer temporary exhibition: Fabergé: Jeweller to the czars.

Dinner: Dinner at the restaurant Les Pyrénés in Old Montreal.

Morning: An unforgettable visit to the Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal featuring an exclusive presentation of the fabulous organ by the Basilica's titular organist. The visit is followed by a transfer to Quebec City by train (train ride is 3.25 hours).

Lunch: Lunch on the train.

Dinner: Dinner in a renowned Pub in Old Quebec followed by a nice walk in the streets of the Old City to the famous Chateau Frontenac.

Morning: Walking guided tour of Quebec's historic district. You will be charmed by the very European atmosphere of its quaint streets as well as the historic value of its buildings.

Afternoon: Explore Quartier Le Petit Champlain and discover Musee de la Civilisation. Guided-visit of the fabulous new exhibition: This Is Our Story: First Nations and Inuit in the 21st Century. Discover what it means to be aboriginal in the 21st century. This new permanent exhibition takes an in-depth look at today’s aboriginal cultures, from their diversity, worldviews, beliefs, and ways of identifying with their pasts, to contemporary expressions of aboriginality around the world. Enjoy free time to explore Quebec City (we will provide suggestions of places to explore).

Day Seven: Saturday, June 21 - Train "Le Massif" to Charlevoix/Discover Baie St-...
Note: For the night of Saturday June 21, it will be possible to leave your luggage in consigne at Hotel Manoir Victoria in Quebec and bring only a carry-on for the overnight stay in Charlevoix.

Breakfast: Travel by scenic train with gourmet breakfast from Quebec City to Charlevoix along the St. Lawrence River. Travelling nearly 100 miles between Quebec City and La Malbaie, the train of Le Massif de charlevoix offers a singular rail cruise experience between mountains and seashore, an incomparable reverside scenery.

Morning: Transfert to the train station at the Montmorency Falls.

Afternoon: 11:45 am Stopover in the lovely Baie St-Paul Village, renowned for its numerous art galleries and artisan workshops. 2:15 pm Departure from Baie St-Paul to La Malbaie. Brunch: 10:30 Musical Brunch at the Domaine Forget, the International Music & Dance Academy. An Unforgatable Musical Interlude.

Afternoon: Tour the Charlevoix Museum and attend a talk on the history of art in the region. 4:30 pm Departure for the train station.

Dinner: On the return trip to Quebec City, travel by scenic train for a unique gastronomic Farewell dinner with the best local products.

Evening: Check-in at Hotel Manoir Victoria.

Day Nine: Monday, June 23 - Individual departure.
