 Description: The Warwick Center is located on 465 acres of pristine land overlooking the beautiful Warwick Valley. The Center offers 8 miles of beautiful hiking trails, beautiful views, a peaceful setting and access to many wonderful sites in and around the Hudson Valley.

Facility amenities: Outdoor swimming pool in operation from Memorial Day through Labor Day. 8 miles of beautiful hiking trails and scenic views.

Visit to Locust Grove. Mansion of artist/inventor of the telegraph/Morse code. Docent led tour of Boscobel Mansion.

Breakfast: Breakfast served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Morning: Hudson Valley Mansions - Lecture and slides. Board bus for Poughkeepsie, NY. Visit Locust Grove, the home of Samuel Morse.

Lunch: Lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: Board bus for Garrison, NY. Guided tour of Boscobel Mansion. Return to The Warwick Center.

Dinner: Dinner served buffet style at 6:00 P.M. in the East House Dining Hall.

Evening: Lecture on Hudson River mansions with slide presentation and NYC Overview in preparation for NYC trip. Evening Snack.

Afternoon: Board bus for Lincoln Center. Attend The Nutcracker Ballet at The New York State Theater.

Morning: Board bus for Staatsburgh, NY. Docent led tour of Mills Mansion. A Gilded Age mansion and the country home of Ogden and Ruth Livingston Mills.

Lunch: Lunch in either Rhinebeck, NY or Hyde Park, NY.

Afternoon: Docent led tour of Wilderstein, Queen Ann mansion of the Suckley Family - home to Daisy Suckley, FDR's cousin and companion. Return to The Warwick Center.

Dinner: Late dinner served buffet style in the East House Dining Hall.

Evening: Free Time. Wine and cheese around the fireplace.

Washington's HeadquartersGen. Washington made this fieldstone farmhouse his Continental Army headquarters and spent more time here than anywhere else during the Revolutionary War. At this site, Washington created and awarded the original purple heart badge. In 1850 the property became our nation's first public historic site. Open Wed. - Sat., 10-5. Sun. 1-5.
