Visit the Fabulous Fox theater and the world-renowned Missouri Botanical Garden.

Breakfast: Enjoy breakfast buffet at hotel.

Morning: Board bus at 9:45am. Field study with docent to experience the "uniqueness" of the free-standing Fabulous Fox Theatre. Explore the splendor of one of America's most magnificant theatres that opened in 1929 as a "Talking Movie Theatre".

Lunch: As we work our way to the world-reowned Missouri Botanical Gardens, we will make a stop in Tower Grove Park for a picnic lunch. This gorgeous park will take you back to a simpler time. A gift to the City of St. Louis from 19th-century merchant Henry Shaw (who was also responsible for the adjacent Missouri Botanical Garden ), this park was laid out in the mid-19th century as a Victorian walking park. Much of the park is car-free, with winding roads for walking and biking. Unique flamboyant Victorian pavilions may be reserved for picnics notably the Turkish and Chinese pavilions and the lovely "Ruins" area is a restful spot with a pond and fountain. Other features include a beautifully restored Victorian bandstand, tennis courts and a small wading pool.

Afternoon: Field study to the Henry Shaw's dream, the Missouri Botanical Garden. Discover why it is one of the top three botanical gardens in the United States. You will be able to explore the garden, Climatron, and more. A short walk to the tram station (included) will allow you to explore the most distant, and possibly most beautiful areas of the garden. Trams depart on the hour each hour. Accordingly, they pick up at each stop one hour after drop off.

Dinner: Enjoy the Irish present in St. Louis tonight at McGurk's Irish Restaurant and Pub.

Evening: No evening program.

Breakfast: Enjoy buffet at hotel.

Morning: Meet in room 134 of the hotel at 8:15 am where we will begin the morning viewing "Monument to the Dream", a documentary about the monumental engineering feat that was required to erect this National Monument. As we arrive at the Arch, stop in the Old Cathedral, site of the oldest Catholic parish west of the Mississippi, and location of the baptism of Sacagawea's son. Continue on to the Arch, just a short walk down a tree-lined path, and travel to the top of this 630 foot high stainless steel structure for amazing views of the Gateway City, the Mighty Mississippi, and neighboring Illinois. Or choose to keep your feet on the ground and view “Lewis and Clark: Great Journey West”. See the odyssey of Lewis and Clark on The Odyssey Theatre’s giant four-story screen. While at the Arch, you will have time to travel step-by-step with Lewis and Clark on their journey at the interactive Museum of Westward Expansion.

Lunch: Lunch at Sqwires Restaurant in Lafayette Square. The Lafayette square area of St. Louis is a revitalized old neighborhood characterized by rows of Victorian "Painted Lady" homes and a beautiful central park managed by a neighborhood conservatorship. Sqwires is located in a historical wire factory. While dining you can observe some of the remaining features of this facility.

Afternoon: Board the Becky Thatcher Riverboat for a day time cruise and history on the muddy, Mighty Mississippi.

Afternoon: A trip to St. Louis is not complete without a visit to the Anheuser Busch Brewery. Even if you are not a beer lover, you will be impressed by this historical facility, which is beautiful and spotless. We will also visit the stable housing the majestic Clydesdales horses. If you are a beer lover, you can sample free Anheuser-Busch products at the conclusion of the tour.
