Day Two: Monday, October 22 - Newport Mansions/Guided Age Lecture  
Breakfast: Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning: Enjoy a guided tour of Chateau Sur Mer, followed by a self-guided audio tour of the Elms Mansion where you will explore the summer residence of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Julius Berwind of Philadelphia and New York.

Lunch: Lunch at a local restaurant

Afternoon: Field trip to the Breakers Mansion where you learn about the Vanderbilt family and their summer cottage with a self-guided audio tour, followed by free time to explore Newport.

Dinner: Dinner at a nearby restataurant.

Evening: This evening we will enjoy a lecture on Newport in the Gilded Age.

Day Three: Tuesday, October 23 - Whitehorne House/Redwood Library/Religious Heritage Walking Tour 
Breakfast: Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning: Enjoy tours of the Whitehorne House followed by the Redwood Library, the oldest lending library in America.

Lunch: Lunch at a local restaurant

Afternoon: Religious heritage tour of Newport featuring a guided tour of the Touro Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in the United States, and the Great Friends Quaker Meeting House, which was built in 1699 and is the oldest surviving house of worship in Rhode Island. Following the tour you will have free time.

Day Four: Wednesday, October 24 - Audio tours of the Rosecliff and Marblehouse mansions/Free Time to... 
Audio tours of the Rosecliff and Marblehouse mansions/Free Time to explore Newport

Breakfast: Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning: Trollet tour of Ocean Drive, followed by a guided tour of Rosecliff, the mansion that became the setting for many of Newport's most lavish parties and was the location of many films including, The Great Gatsby, True Lies and Amistad.

Lunch: Lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Afternoon: This afternoon we visit Marble House, the mansion that set the pace for Newport's subsequent transformation from a quiet summer colony of wooden houses to the legendary resort of opulent stone palaces.

Dinner: Enjoy local dinner on your own.

Evening: Free time to the explore the area on your own.

Morning: Delve into Newport's sporting culture on a field trip to the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

Lunch: Lunch at the Hall of Fame

Afternoon: Fieldtrip to the International Yacht Restoration School. Focoused on preparing students to enter and excel in all aspects of modern boatbuilding, the IYRS is home to important restoration projects and accompanying exhibitions that draw visitors from around the world.

Dinner: Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant

Evening: Return to the hotel
