6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Easy
Love to learn in a small-group setting? This collection of programs has at most 10-24 participants.
See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

You can't find a better value than Road Scholar.

As a not-for-profit organization, we are dedicated to providing inclusive educational programs at great values. From the lectures to gratuities and from field trips to lodging and most meals - the tuition you pay up front is all that you pay.

Specifically, this program includes:

5 nights of accommodations
14 meals: 5 breakfasts, 4 lunches, 5 dinners
7 Expert-led lectures
Led by one or more of our world-class instructors, typically in a classroom setting, lectures come in the form of presentations, discussions or workshops and offer expert insight into your area of study.

4 Field trips
The world is your classroom, as you're on location with an instructor to pursue your educational theme firsthand.

1 Hands-on experiences
Learn by doing in these "hands-on" activities directed by an expert.

3 Performances
A performance can range from a night at the opera to a visit from a local performer at your hotel.

Plus these special experiences...
Sample and savor lunch created by chef/owner Terri Milligan at The Inn at Kristofer’s in Sister Bay, and then enjoy a cooking demonstration.
Work as a team to create your lunch during an exclusive hand’s-on cooking experience at the Savory Spoon Cooking School with owner/chef Janice Thomas.
Watch a potter create a goblet right before your eyes, amazing. You might be able to find something to put in the goblet at the winery.
Explore an apple and cherry orchard and then see how that fruit is turned into yummy treats at the bakery.
