If you're looking for an easy way to share your experiences with friends, family and the Road Scholar community, blogging is a great place to start!
What are blogs?
Blogs are a simple way of sharing your thoughts and experiences with anyone online, almost like a public journal you share with others. You can write about anything, really. Maybe you want to talk about your experience on a Road Scholar program or your thoughts on lifelong learning, or maybe you want to focus your entire blog on a single topic like birding. Whatever your interests are, blogging is a great way to share your thoughts and knowledge with other like-minded individuals!
There are many websites that allow you to create your own blog for free including Travelpod.com, Tumblr.com, and Blogger.com.
We've included instructions below for setting up a blog using Travelpod.com or Tumblr.com. Travelpod is great for blogging about an adventure you've had while traveling, and Tumblr is great for blogs of all kinds. We encourage you to find a blogging platform that you're most comfortable with - even if it's not listed on this page.
