SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Assistant assists the North American Program team to stimulate participation in Road Scholar
domestic programs by coordinating an inventory of programs from inception to publication.
Responsibilities include:
| • | Reviewing program changes via service requests |
| • | Reviewing program enrollments |
| • | Responding to requests and inquiries from program providers |
| • | Proofreading catalogs and brochures for accuracy |
| • | Entering, compiling and tracking data; creating reports from tracked data |
| • | Communicating with program providers via phone/email concerning program issues; contacting providers to ensure submission deadlines are met |
| • | Liaising between program providers and the Road Scholar call center |
| • | Entering and editing information in database, spreadsheets and on website |
| • | Other clerical and support duties as assigned |
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and COMPETENCIES
| • | Bachelor's Degree required. |
| • | Polished, professional verbal, email, phone and writing communication skills; strong interpersonal and problem solving skills |
| • | Highly computer literate; knowledge of MS Excel pivot tables preferred |
| • | Good with numbers; highly accurate; quality driven; comfortable maintaining data and running reports in a hands-on database environment; learns new software quickly |
| • | Focused; productive; unflappable; ability to simultaneously manage several different projects well with minimal supervision |
| • | Ability to thrive in a fast-paced constantly changing environment |
