The Operations Team creates and maintains internal procedures and systems that support the inner workings of the organization.
In this entry-level role, the Operations Associate works closely with all departments and the network of independent travel and
educational organizations with which Road Scholar develops and operates its programs. Working from our downtown Boston
headquarters, The Operations Associate coordinates detailed program and user information within our system applications, and
assists systems users with our applications and websites.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
| | Assist field and Boston based staff with Road Scholar intranet and systems questions |
| | Answer general procedure, policy and systems inquiries |
| | General maintenance of program information in database, including assisting with coordination of program changes for all Road Scholar programs |
| | Assist with maintaining accurate and extremely detailed information pertinent to Road Scholar programs. This detailed information about our programs is a resource for potential customers and our Call Center agents who field over 400,000 calls annually |
| | Provide exceptional customer service to Road Scholars network more than 300 program providers as they use a website portal that connects them with our database |
| | Provide assistance in preparing program marketing materials and display on the Road Scholar website |
| | Assist with customer service activity as necessary during busy times |
| | Other duties as determined by the Director of Operations |

REQUIREMENTS
| | Bachelor's Degree a must |
| | Previous office experience required |
| | Strong customer service skills are preferred |
| | High-energy; highly productive; reliable; quality driven |
| | Attention to detail and accuracy; good speller; strong proofreading, editing and writing skills |
| | Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills |
| | Extensive PC experience a must; comfort and proficiency with CRM databases |
| | Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a team |
| | Must be able to work in the US for any employer indefinitely without sponsorship |
