The 2007 National Positive Aging Conference: Beyond the
Cutting Edge

The 2007 National Positive Aging Conference is being
planned by and for professionals and organizations that provide services
and programs for older adults. Conference sessions will be presented
from a strengths based approach in seven key Focus Areas:
Brain and Physical Wellness
Creativity in Later Life
Intergenerational Programs
Lifelong Learning
Life Planning for the 3rd Age
Purposeful Living
Thriving in Community
Dr. Gene Cohen, author of The Mature Mind, and Director of the Center
on Aging, Health & Humanities at George Washington University, will
be the keynote opening session speaker. His topic: Positive Changes
That Occur Because of Aging, Not In Spite of Aging.
