Members of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Rutgers University in New Jersey took part this past spring in a five-week program about Personal and Public Policy. For five Tuesdays, members viewed a film about that day’s topic in the morning and then discussed and analyzed the larger subject in the afternoon. The topics were:

Dependency and Urban Decay Movie – Ironweed
Institutional Evil and Personal Responsibility Movie – Paths of Glory
Global Warming and Proactive Government Movie – The Day After Tomorrow
