Many new technologies have been introduced into home and personal use
in recent years. They are often a source of confusion: What benefit
would they have for me? How hard are they to set up and use? How does
one choose among competing options or service providers? OLLI is providing
an opportunity for members to share their experiences with several technologies
during informal lunchtime sessions this fall.
Each session will have a leader and a panel of OLLI members who are
familiar with the technology available to answer your questions.
This Lunchtime Lecture Series is free. The following topics will be
discussed.
September 27 – Digital Camera Selection
October 4 – GPS
October 11 – Broadband Internet
October 18 – Self-Publishing a Book
November 1 – Duke’s IPOD program for first year students.
November 8 – Wireless Home Networks
November 15 – How OLLI members can use IPODs
November 29 – DVD Burning.
