The Learning Institute at New England College (LINEC) in Henniker,
New Hampshire offered the following program to its members this past fall.
Elizabeth D. Hengen, author of Capital Views: A Photographic History
of Concord, NH – a slide show of Concord’s history as reflected
by its historic architecture.
Nan Hagen, Executive Director of Main Street Concord, gave a Walking
Tour of Concord. Members learned more about the buildings that are significant
to Concord’s history and architecture.
Ben Wilson, architectural preservation consultant, discussed the public
policy issues and processes that affect the preservation of important
architecture.
Ken Browne, the New York documentary film maker, showed the group the
work of David Campbell, architect of many contemporary buildings in NH
and elsewhere.
