Ambassador Benefits Plan“The benefits package is the frosting on the cake. I enjoy making Road Scholar presentations and this plan is a great perk for the volunteers. It is really an added bonus for us, particularly since these are hard economic times. It is a nice way of being appreciated for all of our hard work. The benefits plan also encourages other Road Scholar participants to volunteer with Road Scholar. I look forward to using the vouchers toward my upcoming programs.” — Ambassador Rochelle Kruger from Westwood, Mass.   Rochelle is a long-time, Super-Active Ambassador who loves spreading the word about Road Scholar and participating in our programs. She averages more than 30 presentations per year to a wide variety of groups and organizations. Ambassador categories are based on number of presentations given per year. Reactive Ambassador: 0-2 presentations/year Ambassador Presentations: For every Road Scholar
presentation and/or fair scheduled by Road Scholar, Ambassadors will receive a
$10 voucher toward a Road Scholar program of his/her choice.
Generating Ambassador Requests: For every Road Scholar presentation and/or fair request scheduled by the Ambassador (without the referral of the Boston office), the Ambassador will receive a voucher toward a Road Scholar program of his/her choice.
New Mailing Additions: For every 10 new names an Ambassador adds to the Road Scholar mailing list, he/she will receive a voucher toward a Road Scholar program of his/her choice.
Charter Program Sales: For each Charter Program sold by the Ambassador that generates a minimum of 15 enrollments, he/she will receive a voucher toward a Road Scholar program of his/her choice (except chartering a Day of Discovery Program). Please note that a full charter requires the group to meet the minimum enrollment on a program, while a partial charter requires a minimum of 15 enrollments. Minimum and maximum program enrollments vary based on the type of program. For a traditional Road Scholar program (i.e. Fine Arts, Signature Cities), the program minimum is generally 20 participants. For a more specialized type of program, like birding or hiking, the minimum may be as low as 10 to ensure a wonderful program experience while participating in the specific activity.
Enrollments: For each new Ambassador-generated name that results in an enrollment within 12 months of the presentation date, the Ambassador will receive a program voucher toward a Road Scholar program of his/her choice.
Social Media: * Please note that these vouchers cannot be used on Day of Discovery programs and cannot be used as a deposit on any programs. The vouchers are redeemable for up to three years from the process date. |
