Walking up to two miles per day; some uneven terrain and stairs. Getting on/off busses, ferries and 28-foot rigid hulled inflatable zodiac boat. Riding on motorcoach between 40 and 250 miles per day (1-8 hrs). Getting in and out of one-piece cold weather inflatable suit for whale watching.

Bill is the co-author of “Newfoundland Birds: Exploitation, Study and Conservation," and created "Seabirds – Oceanic Barometers" for the Ideas Series on the CBC Radio network. Bill lectures nationally and internationally about avian ecology and conservation.

Crystal Anstey grew up in Newfoundland with a love for the ocean, the beautiful landscape, and spectacular sunsets that envelop the island. She is a graduate of the College of the North Atlantic Visual Arts program and is often a visiting artist to schools around the province. In addition to hosting experiences as part of her business, Crystal also sculpts clay vessels and home décor using locally sourced and culturally significant materials. She currently lives on the shore of Back Harbour in Twillingate.

Dan Goodyear was born and raised in Musgrave Harbour, a fishing outport on the northeast coast of the island of Newfoundland. From an early age, Dan developed an interest in the unique culture and history of his home province. Dan had a long career in adult education, with a focus on inclusive education and promoting equitable access for all. A lifelong learner who enjoys travel, Dan has led and participated in educational opportunities in Europe, Africa, and China.
